New Canaan Pediatrics is pleased to announce our June 29th “Meet The Doctor” Zoom!
When you’re an expectant parent or have moved away from your pediatrician, finding a new practice to care for your child can be overwhelming. For new parents, how do you even begin to look? For relocated families, will you find someone you trust and who your child feels comfortable with, like your previous practitioner?
You’re not looking for an acceptable relationship with a pediatric practice. You’re looking for a place that feels like family, that answers your questions with patience and kindness – no matter how many you ask – and that you know is providing evidence-based, leading edge care for your family.
New Canaan Pediatrics invites you to join us for “Meet the Doctor” on June 29th at 5:30 pm. Please click here to register. This hour-long session gives you a chance to meet Dr. Alyssa Newman virtually, to ask questions and to see how New Canaan Pediatrics may be exactly the pediatric practice you’re looking for.
New Canaan has been a family-centered practice for over 50 years, as our current Dr. William Flynn is the son of founder Dr. Thomas Flynn. Our physicians, nurses and administrative staff create an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere each time you and your child visit. While you and your child will meet with your primary care physician for most visits, everyone at New Canaan works together so even when your physician is unavailable, perhaps when your child is sick or has an injury, we’ll understand your child’s history to make the best recommendations.
You’ll enjoy the “mom and pop” feeling of our practice, as each patient and family is treated just as we would treat our own family members. You’ll also appreciate how our board-certified physicians and nurses are highly trained and educated and maintain the highest levels of pediatric accreditations. Our physicians keep on top of the latest research, standards and treatment options for all children, from infancy through the teenage years.
Your child will be protected against life-changing, preventable diseases as we follow the American Academy of Pediatrics vaccination schedule, making accommodations within their guidelines for children who may have special circumstances. We offer comprehensive breastfeeding support while holding the conviction that “fed is best.”
After hours, whatever time of day, your phone call to our office will be returned by a New Canaan physician, giving you the confidence that your child’s emergent situation will be handled quickly, by someone who knows your child and is personally engaged with your family. New Canaan Pediatric providers are affiliated with Stamford Hospitaland Norwalk Hospital.
